Credible recognition at every stage
Each medal reflects a level of ESG maturity, defined according to concrete criteria and objectives.
Formalizing the foundations: first ESG data structured in VSME basic format, priorities identified, approach initiated.
Responding to the market: indicators in place, further development of the VSME comprehensive format, dialogue with stakeholders.
Anchoring progress: consolidated reporting, corrective actions undertaken, with an ESG approach, policies and tools now fully integrated within the company in the SRS mid caps format.
Setting the standard: a successful ESG strategy, exemplary governance and a leadership position that makes your company a benchmark and a source of inspiration for your sector.
Why aim for a VSME medal?
Voluntary but structured, the VSME reference system enables companies not subject to CSRD to recognize each stage of their ESG commitment. Thanks to a system of medals, it offers clear, progressive recognition in line with stakeholder expectations.
-
The VSME framework is a lighter version of the structure of European standards (ESRS). It enables you to prepare now for a smooth transition to a likely reporting obligation, without excessive complexity.
-
More and more tenders are including ESG criteria in their evaluations. Having a clear and recognized reporting system, even if voluntary, becomes a concrete asset for maintaining or developing your markets.
-
VSME medals offer a simple, progressive benchmark that your customers, partners and staff can understand. They allow you to formalize an approach that is often already underway, without overloading your teams.
-
By structuring your ESG information, you can more easily identify your areas of concern (consumption, dependency, reputational risks). This helps you to act more quickly and make better decisions.
-
A clear ESG approach facilitates access to financing, enhances attractiveness to investors and structures relations with financial partners who are increasingly attentive to extra-financial data.
